Raised by the Book

Connor Guetersloh graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor’s in Screenwriting and a Master’s in English Literature. He grew up reading the classics, from “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” and “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” to “East of Eden” and “David Copperfield.” His favorite book is “Atlas Shrugged,” and the silver age of Russian literature served as the textual foundation for his seventy-page Master’s thesis in rhetoric, “Murmurs of Revolution: Mythical Subversion in Dostoevsky.”

Connor is an aspiring screenwriter, with a few T.V. pilots and movies ready to pitch. But he also enjoys penning the plans for future novels, and is preparing to publish an illustrated collection, Traditional Fables of the Hatugan Forest-Peoples. He enjoys sampling all kinds of genres, but tends to include a smidge of science-fiction in each piece.
