Poetry

The goal of my poetry differs depending on the poem. You will find religious implications, goofy analogies, sometimes (oftentimes) salacious turns of phrase. But there is one thing that connects them all: I mean for them to be both entertaining and easy to read. Easy – as in, not a slog or a chore to get through. Heaven forbid! I want to laugh at my poems, feel comforted, visualize the whimsical. And I want you to as well. Sure, some subjects may be trite, some rhymes may be simple, but if it gives you your own tune or makes you chuckle while you read it, then that was ten minutes of mine well-spent. Serious matters deserve more direct approaches. Everything else?
